Extradition of Mr. Zufar Utyaganov, a citizen of the Russian Federation, who is accused of banditism and murders, to Russia from Montenegro

Today, at the request of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation, the competent authorities of Montenegro are extraditing to Russia Mr Zufar Utyaganov, a citizen of the Russian Federation.

In October 2009, Mr. Utyaganov was detained in the territory of Montenegro with the forged documents in the name of Mr. Alikas Katkevitch, citizen of Lithuania.

In January 2010, Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation forwarded the request on his extradition to the competent authorities of Montenegro and this request was granted in April 2010.

Today, Mr. Zufar Utyaganov, who was accompanied by the officers of the Russian Central Bureau of Interpol and the Russian Federal Service of Execution of Punishments, was extradited to Russia.
