The Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Yuri Chaika met with the delegation of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic

In Moscow the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Yuri Chaika met with the delegation of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic, headed by the Prosecutor General of the Kyrgyz Republic Indira Dzholdubayeva.
The Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation highlighted in his speech that cooperation between two authorities is held within the framework of the UN and IAP events, in the course of which decisions are made regarding joining of international efforts to ensure rule of law and combating against transnational organized crime.
The prosecutors effectively cooperate in the format of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the Coordination Council of Prosecutors General of the CIS member states, within the frameworks of which together with the partners they solve the problems of counteraction to new challenges and threats to world community, including to terrorism, extremism, and corruption crimes.
Besides, the prosecutors hold bilateral consultations of various levels regarding the issues of Russian-Kyrgyz cooperation in the criminal proceedings field. They share experience on recovery of assets obtained by illegal means.
Also he emphasized that much attention is paid to advance professional education of prosecutorial staff with active participation of the Academy of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation.
In conclusion Yuri Chaika confirmed firm determination to further extension and strengthening of cooperation between the prosecution services of Russia and the Kirgizia.
