Meeting with the delegation of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Hungary

In the furtherance of the Program on Cooperation between the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation and the Prosecutor General’s Office of Hungary for 2019-2020, a round table was conducted on the issues of activity of the prosecutor’s bodies of Russia and Hungary on counteraction to extremism and terrorism, including in the information and communication networks, and on the issues of prosecution of criminal cases of terrorist nature.
The Hungarian delegation was headed by Ervin Belovic, Deputy Prosecutor General of Hungary.
The Russian party was represented by Leonid Korzhinek, Deputy Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation. The meeting was also visited by the officers of the Department for Supervision over Execution of Laws on Federal Security, Interethnic Relations, Counteraction to Extremism and Terrorism, General Department for Criminal Court Proceedings and General Department of International Legal Cooperation.
During the meeting the parties exchanged their experience on counteraction to manifestation of extremism and terrorism in the Internet, discussed particularities of public prosecution of criminal cases of terrorist nature.
The Parties agreed to continue their cooperation within the framework of the said Program.
