The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation and the State’s Attorney Office of the Republic of Croatia have signed a cooperation program for 2018-2019

Today, on October 18, 2017, Mr. Yury Chaika, Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation, and Mr. Dinko Cvitan, Attorney General of the Republic of Croatia, have signed a cooperation program for 2018-2019 within the framework of the meeting of the Russian and Croatian Presidents in Sochi.

Mr. Saak Karapetyan, Deputy Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation, Mr. Tonči Staničić, Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Republic of Croatia to the Russian Federation, and members of the delegation of the Republic of Croatia attended the event.

Representatives of the delegations noted positive results of the Program of cooperation between the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation and the State’s Attorney Office of the Republic of Croatia, signed in 2012, in Zagreb.

Willing to proceed with cooperation, the parties agreed to conduct a number of joint events in 2018-2019. A meeting for sharing best practices in training prosecutors of both states, round tables on topical issues in combating corruption and extremism, consultations on international legal cooperation in the field of legal assistance in criminal matters, exchange of agency-level and scientific publications are scheduled by the Program.

There will be additional coordination as to each event stipulated in the Program.
