False Healer, charged with especially large scale Fraud, extradited from Republic of Poland to Russian Federation

Today, on April 16, 2018, upon the request of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation the competent authorities of the Republic of Poland are extraditing Russian national Alla Narushevichene to Russia.
The investigative authorities charge her with committing a crime envisaged by Article 159 part 4 (fraud, committed at an especially large scale) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
According to the investigative authority, in April 2003 in the city of Yaroslavl Ms. Narushevichene convinced a local woman that her daughter suffered from an incurable type of leukemia (blood cancer). Having introduced herself as a white magician the malefactor promised to cure the girl from the disease for consideration. In the period from May to December 2003 she received more than 47000 US dollars from the mother, and thereafter she fled with the stolen money.
In August 2017 Ms. Narushevichene, who had been declared internationally wanted, was detained on the territory of Poland, and thereafter the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation sent a request for her extradition to the competent authorities of the said state.
In February 2018 the Polish party made a decision in favor of the extradition of the accused person to Russia.
The criminal case is being investigated by the Investigative Unit of the Investigative Department of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Yaroslavl Oblast.
Today Alla Narushevichene has been extradited to Russia accompanied by the escort officers.
