She is charged with committing crimes provided for by Article 292 (2) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (official forgery that have entailed an essential violation of the rights and legitimate interests of citizens or organizations or of legally protected interests of society or the state) and Article 159 (3) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (fraud committed by a person through his official position, as well as on a large scale).
According to the investigation, since 2014, Khatayeva, holding the mentioned position, has entered knowingly false information to official documents – the hospital tariff classification for 2014, 2015, and 2016 – that she had the right for extra pay to her salary in the amount of 30%. At the same time, she knew that she didn’t have work experience more than 5 years, which allows such extra pay.
Based on the mentioned documents, she got more than 181 thousand rubles from the hospital cash office, which she stole.
In the course of the investigation, a decision to indict Khatayeva was issued, she was put in the wanted list, and the court selected a measure of restriction in the form of detention.
In November 2017, the perpetrator was detained in the territory of Poland. The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation sent a request for her extradition to the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Poland with the view of criminal prosecution.
Due to clear and concerted actions of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation, and the organized close cooperation with the competent authorities of Poland, the decision on extradition of Khatayeva to Russia was reached. The Russian request was granted on October 3, 2018.
The Federal Penitentiary Service and the Interpol National Central Bureau of the MIA of Russia accepted Khatayeva from the Polish competent authorities in Warsaw and delivered her to Moscow.
