Results of the final of the of the International Youth Social Anti-Corruption Advertising Competition "Together Against Corruption!"

Today, on December 9, 2019, in the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation, following the results of the voting, the official ceremony of awarding the winners and awardees of the International Youth Social Anti­Corruption Advertising Competition "Together Against Corruption!" took place.

In this year, at the initiative of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation, the competition was organized for the young people from Russia, as well as from other states - members of the Interstate Anti-Corruption Council (Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan) and BRICS countries (Brazil, India, China, South Africa).

The co-organizers of the competition were the competition member states’ authorities competent in the sphere of combating crime.

Competitors at the age of 14-35 were invited to prepare social anti-corruption advertisement in the form of posters or videos on the topic “Together Against Corruption!”

The entries were accepted on the competition official website www.anticorruption.life. Totally, more than 22 thousand posters and videos were received within the framework of the competition.

The best entries of the contestants, selected by the national contest commissions of the states participating in the contest, are published on the contest website in the section “Contestant’s entries” (anticorruption.life/works).

Based on the results of voting of the members of the international jury, the winners and awardees of the contest were determined.

In the nomination “Best poster”:

I place - the entry of Alexander Yundin, 19 y.o. student from Russia, “People defeat corruption!”

II place - the entry of Voskeat Tadevosyan, 22 y.o. student from Armenia, “Stop corruption”

III place - the entry of Mofokeng Motlalepule, 33 y.o. video journalist from the Republic of South Africa, “Together against corruption!”

In the nomination “Best video”:

I place - the entry of Kristina Dubatovka, 26 y.o. journalist from Belarus, “Don’t take what is not yours!”

II place was shared among the entries of the authors from three countries: De’Angelo September, 24 y.o., South Africa, “Together against corruption!”;

Anna Sarukhanyan, 20 y.o., and Luisa Melkonyan, 22 y.o., Armenia, “Where money speaks, conscience is silent”; as well as 19 y.o. students from China Shen Lukesheng, Lu Ziyi, Cai Yu, and Xing Shuting, “Together against corruption: Tango”

III place - the entry of Pranav Saxena,31 y.o., India, “Fire monster”.

The official ceremony of awarding the winners and awardees of the international competition took place in Moscow, in the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation, on December 9, 2019, - on the International Anti­Corruption Day.

The prizes of honor were presented to the fmalists personally by the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Yury Yakovlevich Chayka.

The event was attended by foreign delegations headed by the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Koniuk, the Secretary of the Central Vigilance Commission (of ministerial rank) of the Republic of India Anindo Majumdar, Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia Armen Arutyunyan, Director of the Advertisement Division of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China Chen Gohua, Director of the Division of Personnel Resources and Development of the Department of Higher Education & Training of the Republic of South Africa Amos Moneyla.
