Russia extradited to Uzbekistan persons accused of perpetration of crimes against property and illegal turnover of narcotic drugs

The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation extradited two persons to the competent authorities of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the view of criminal prosecution. Dilshod Pireav is accused of the fact that in the period from May to August 2021 on the territory of the Bostanlyksky District of the Tashkent Region of the Republic of Uzbekistan he, in the composition of a criminal group, secretly stole property for the total amount of 39 500 000 sums.
Also, on February 10, 2021 the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation satisfied the request of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan on extradition of Kamol Rakhmonkulov for making him criminally liable for complicity in smuggling and illegal turnover of narcotic drugs. Mr. Rakhmonkulov is accused of the fact that, having entered into preliminary concert with other persons, aimed at illegal turnover and smuggling of narcotic drugs for the purposes of sale, jointly with other accomplices in September 2011 illegally, he crossed the state border of the Republic of Uzbekistan, having entered the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan. There, acting in accordance with the reached agreement, he stayed as the guarantor of execution of criminal intent.
In his turn, accomplice illegally transferred from the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Uzbekistan narcotic drug on a large scale – heroin at 986.71 grams and gave it to another person for subsequent sale for 18.000 US dollars. The same day competent authorities of the Republic of Uzbekistan detained the criminal and seized narcotic drug.
Decisions of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation on extradition entered into its legal force, and the Federal Penitentiary Service was directed to perform handing over while observing security measures. Special convoy escorted then to the Republic of Uzbekistan.
